2006
Weather and Harvest Conditions
A climatically close-to-perfect year for the Auckland region. Fine weather during fruit-set ensured good bunch condition. Little rainfall during the ripening period ensured well ripened, complex fruit. The weather was not quite as warm as the 2005 vintage.

Tasting Notes
The 2006 presents with a dark ruby-purple coloring. On the nose, a complex balance of red berry and minerals. On the palette, the wine displays ripe fruit with complexity and power. Rounded out by focused tannin finishing with length and finesse. A powerful, concentrated wine displaying great richness and balance. The wine shall develop further for 15 – 20 years.
