Weather and Harvest Conditions
An excellent spring started the growing season with fine, warm weather. The fruit set was excellent. The summer was of average warmth and slightly higher than usual rainfall. The ripening was slightly delayed, but the grapes were in excellent condition heading into harvest. The weather remained fine throughout the harvest period.

Tasting Notes
Finely scented oak on the nose which is nicely balanced. A maturing wine of medium weight, dusty acidity and silky fruit. Long, elegant and supple with ripe fruit, chocolate and coffee notes. A classily restrained and delicate wine. Aging elegantly, drinking well now.
